Van is a 2D Motion Designer whose energy and passion shine through in his vivid and dynamic animations. He has worked as a freelance motion designer for Taiwan’s National Immigration Agency, creating 2D motion designs that convey positive societal messages. One notable project, “E-Gate: Your Smart Choice,” emphasizes the convenience of the E-Gate system, enhancing the travel experience. Influenced by numerous international studios, Van believes that the most compelling motion graphics blend 2D and 3D techniques. This belief led him to pursue an MFA in Computer Arts at the School of Visual Arts, where he honed his skills in modeling, materials, and lighting.

Currently, Van is a junior 2D and 3D animator at Coed Studios, where he
has worked for nearly two years. He continues to refine his skills in 3D motion design, character animation, and AI tools to streamline his workflow. In 2023 and 2024, Van's artwork "The Life" received awards at several IMDb-qualifying film festivals. "The Life" explores the theme that one can lead a fulfilling life even when alone. It suggests that while family and friends enrich our lives, their eventual departures teach us that solitude does not diminish our wholeness or brilliance. Van is committed to creating more artwork that positively influences the world. He is continually learning new techniques and collaborating with others to produce meaningful works.

Your project takes a part in our festival. What is your project about?
My project, "The Life," narrates my belief that even alone, one can lead a complete life. In our journey through life, we board our own trains by seeking happiness. In my story, I describe my personal insights on how to find joy in life. We all know that family, friends, and loved ones nourish our lives. However, there will come a day when they leave to board their own trains. These departures are not painful; rather, they help us understand that even alone, one can be whole and brilliant.
